ANG sikat na Fil-American singer na si apl.de.ap ang magpe-perform sa opening at closing ceremonies ng 30th Southeast Asian Games.

Sa opisyal na signing ceremony kahapon sa House of Representative, inihayag ni House Speaker at Philippine SEA Games Organizing Committee (PHISGOC) chair Alan Peter Cayetano ang pagkuha sa serbisyo ni apl.de.ap para sa biennial meet.

Allan Pineda Lindo sa tunay na buhay, si apl.de.ap ay ipinanganak sa Barangay Sapang Bato sa Angeles City at miyembro ng Grammy Award-winning hip-hop group na Black Eyed Peas.

Unang magtatanghal si apl.de.ap sa opening ceremonies na gaganapin sa Philippine Arena sa Bulacan sa Nobyembre 30, habang sasamahan siya ng grupo niyang Black Eyed Peas sa closing ceremonies na gagawin naman sa New Clark City athletics stadium sa Disyembre 11.

Agad namang na-excite si Apl.de.ap na maging bahagi ng SEA Games.

“I’m from Angeles City, Pampanga and I won’t miss it for the world,” lahad ni Apl.de.ap. “I want to be part of this historic moment. It only happens every 20 years. I’m really proud of my country and I really want to share my talent and what I can provide for this event.”

“I’m very excited to perform and rock the stage in the opening and the closing ceremony,” dagdag pa niya.
